  1. I recently saw excerpts from Derek Jarman’s adaptation of The Tempest. It was a gothic version and… very odd. I’m still not quite sure whether it was good or bad. He shifted a lot of the dialogue aroud – which I’m usually not too fond of, but it was interesting, at least. He was obviously trying to make it unique.
